in the little town of Lancaster that is split between two sides. the rich side and the poor side, but no matter the differences of the two sides, the right smack bang in the middle is Lancaster high. a high school where the rich and the poor are both forced to attend together.
but other than this high school, the two sides never mix.

the right side of the town is full of fancy white houses, pretty shops, and dazzling country clubs with the snobbiest of people and the brattiest kids. but no matter the cover of the right side town, a deeper, darker situation lies beneath the surface of fancy wine glasses and stacks of money.

however, the left side is the complete opposite of the right. as per usual, it's filled with broken down houses with creaky gates and holes in windows. its filled with crime and drunken filled bars that stay open way later than they should. it holds all the things the people on the right side fear. it holds shitty parents and reckless kids.

they never mix, but what happens when Johnny carter a damaged boy who cant seem to stay out of trouble comes back to Lancaster after spending the summer away. cara Wilkinson a girl with perfect grades and a cheerleading skirt with a heart of gold gets paired with the damaged boy.

the only problem is...cara and Johnny used to be best friends so what happens now?
