Refusing to return back to her hometown in Virginia she gets offered a position as a stripper under the table as she is still under the legal age in California. Starting out is always a bumpy road but with the help of a seasoned dancer, she is able to rise quickly and become one of the top girls. The club is one of the hottest in the city and also attracts a lot of thugs, gangs, and mafia members. She ends up meeting Rome, a 26-year-old Korean guy who's part of a mafia. When asked about her age, she lies, telling him she's 23 and decides not to disclose that she's trans. What kind of trouble will Ruby find herself in, what will happen when the truth is revealed, and what type of toxicness will these two share?

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past.
