Infamati et Obliterati

Im trying to write a mistery novel. Keyword; trying. Read at your own risk. And I just wrote this at 2am so I don't think it's gonna make much sense.

1950's, London. A somewhat secret society lurks in the shadows trying to maintain peace and safety in the european city. They have done both terrible and great things in the name of the greater good, but haven't we all? For years they have been able to keep all their work secret. And all that secrecy seems to go down the drain, when a particularly nosy agent on cleaning duty on Christmas's Eve can't keep his hands to himself, and ends up unveiling something he would never imagined. Abruptly leaving the organization, Dallas seeks refuge with a bunch of conspiracy theorists and starts roaming the streets with their company...

What are they looking for? Why did he dropped everything? What on earth in the Lonely Hearts Club? And most importantly what's in the box?
