Briana has moved from town to town to keep wondering eyes from finding out what she really is . . . a vampire. Besides the ever lasting immortality, she's not like the vampires she's seen on TV but she doesn't know exactly what other vampires look like being that she's never met one. She does have a pretty good idea though. She doesn't have super speed and she doesn't drink blood. That might have to do with the fact that she was raised by a human.
   Aside from her ever lasting life, Briana's life is pretty much mundane. She has a job with human friends and she eats regular food. It's pretty peaceful . . . that is, until she's attacked by a blue-eyed vampire for stumbling across his late night dinner and then gets saved by a green-eyed vampire, who suddenly takes an interest in her.
    She learns that the two vampires are actually friends but why do they always fight? What's the green-eyed vampire's relationship with her mother? What's her relationship with the blue-eyed one and why are the other members of their clans after her?
