Hoping to conquer the undercity for their own aims, the foreign crime syndicate Dynasty has no intention of letting the Vents organize itself in a quest for liberation. The syndicate quickly envelops the undercity's eight gang lords in an all-out war of succession. And Mori, caught right in the center of the conflict, finds herself swept up in the tide of criminal politics and tribal gangster warfare...

It's only a matter of time before one of them breaks through or breaks the other. - I was 12 the first time I took a hit off a joint at a party, smoked a blunt by myself and bought a bong. I was 13 when I started drinking alcohol for fun. 14 the first time I took ecstasy at a college party I snuck into, the same age I lost my virginity. This was the first time I went to a mental institution because it's also the year I first tried to kill myself. 15 the first time I smoked meth, took a bump of cocaine, shot myself up with heroine. This was the first time I got sent to rehab, it didn't work and I came out worse. I was 16 when I tried to commit three times in the same year, the last time I got my heart to stop for 30 seconds. That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap. A one shot about a romance revolving around a futuristic institute's cultural festival. As it is, even future soldiers have a normal high-school life. The story is set in the future, where children are trained from an early age, by the permission of their parents, (unless of course, they are orphans) to become Knights. They then become part of the military. Nina is such a child, who joined the V_ four years ago. She's infamous for her wild nature and blatant disregard of the rules and the Student Council. And then, by some blighted twist of fate, she finds herself a House Prefect. Enter Azerkin Schwann, suave, cool, mysterious and with a permanent train of fangirls. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nina finds a close friend in the drool-worthy Schwann. Everything is going on perfectly; except for a pack of man-killer cyborg wolves, an insanely powerful rival-in-battle, whose aim in life seems to be throwing challenge after challenge at Nina, and the Senior Troublemaker of the School's latest game :- 'Set fire to a pile of straw'. Well, that's not much, after all, what can a pile of straw do? Nothing, unless there's a stack of fireworks underneath. And that's the least of her worries when Nina's fallen head over heels for Schwann. This is a work of fiction, and the characters introduced are purely fictional. Any resemblance in name or character is unintentional. Just sayin' since this is basically my first story using normal names and settings. The story is currently a one shot.
