While on a mission with his brother, Chase, Jack was forced to watch as Chase was shot and killed. So full of rage, Jack slips and his demon takes full control, killing them all as the leader escapes. Jack, falling into depression due to his brother's death, became more aggressive, rude, and angry instead of suicidal. He started brutally killing criminals when he normally has a no kill rule. He won't stop till the man that killed his brother is dead, though the other pups are starting to worry about him. Will Jack ever be the same again?

They both decide together that maybe they don't need to have someone who loves them romantically, but as they both find out that they naturally hang out more and get to know each other way more than friends usually do, they realize that maybe there's many more options for love out there.
