Is Matthew 24:34 Referring to a Present or a Future Generation?

The phrase "this generation"--meaning Jesus' own generation, or the one that occurs during his own lifetime--in both Matthew 24:34 and Luke 17:25 is a reference to a future generation, not to a first-century generation.
