A boy named Kai, who lives in a big city, has a very horrible life when he's at school, or home. At home his parents fight all the time, and abuse him. And at school he just has to go to class, or gets bullied by a group who calls themselves "The killers". When Kai wants to escape reality, he runs into the the enormous forest, that's around the city. The people who tried to go into the forest, would hit an invisible barrier after walking a few kilometers. Kai can get past that barrier. And behind the barrier, is where Kai feels home. There are magical creatures and plants. Kai figures out some things when the creatures tell him things he didn't know.
