"A new journey begins...and it all starts with our main character, Rubi. An 11 year old black girl who lives in the Hoenn Region, and is trying to figure out what she wants to do in life. When Rubi was around 8 years old, she found a Mudkip injured in the forest. Out of instinct, Rubi helped the Mudkip up, and carried it to the Pokémon Center. After getting it all patched up, Rubi begged her mother to allow her to keep the poor creature until it was completely healed. Her mother obliged, and Rubi took great care of Mudkip until it was fully healed. Though, when she tried to let Mudkip go free, it didn't leave her. Mudkip decided to stay due to its sudden attachment with her. After that day, Mudkip has been living with Rubi for the past 3 years. Now, as an 11 year old child, Rubi is starting the beginning of her Pokémon journey. Who will she meet? Will there be new faces? Will she make any enemies? Rubi become the new Pokémon champion?
