John Charles Keating went to school at Welton and came back to be a teacher. The night before Neal's play had its opening night he invited the boy to dinner at his house. In doing so two paths crossed, and connected till the very end. But even at the end, on path kept going and didn't stop. That's were Gloria Keating comes in. And ten years later, she becomes the first girl at Welton.
