His eyes widened in horror as he was forced to watch the King slowly make his way toward him. Clack, clack, clack. Those noises were like tormentious screams to his ears.
Once the king was in front of him, he could not take his eyes off of the royalty, and neither did he.
The king crouched, placing his hand under his chin and bringing his face closer to examin him. After so many moments of silence, the King announced loudly, "This one shall be a concubine."
His pride shattered upon hearing such words.
