Prologue
"Promise me you'll never leave me. We will be bestfriends forever! Promise?" A young boy asked the little girl while holding up his little pinky finger.
"Promise!" the little girl agreed and hooked her pinky finger to the boy.
Little did they know, promises are meant to be broken.

"We promised right? You'll never leave me. Please say you won't?" the little boy begged while tears flowed endlessly on his flushed face due to his continous crying.
"I'm sorry, I really need to go. But I'll come back. That's my promise." the girl replied, her cheeks was also wet with tears.
"I'll remember that. You'll came back. You'll remember me right? You won't forget about me, okay?"
"Of course, I will remember you."

The little girl along with her parents rode in an airplane to America.
But before the plane could land, the plane crashed.
News spread easily.
The little boy's family and the little girl's family were friends.
The little boy's family grieved for the lost.
The little boy's parents were deciding if they would tell what happened but even if they don't, he would found out about it sooner.
Upon knowing what happened, the boy was broken.
Tears flowed again endlessly in his eyes.
"No! It can't be! She promised to me! You're lying! She would be back. I will find her!" the little boy yelled.
He will find her.

Bakit Michelle?" her tears are already on the verge of falling, "Alicia, you couldn't understand? kahit kailan di na ako babalik sayo kahit mamatay pa ako" I heard the groom said, damn! too much drama, "Peru mahal na mahal kita Kito..sobra kitang mahal" she suddenly wailed hard, she sounds like a slaughtered cow! I walk to the girl and hold her hand nakita ko pang nagulat siya na nakita niya ako, well I am more even surprise myself why I am doing this. "Let's go" I said as people continue to murmur around us. "Peru...Kito.." I clearly heard the desperate tone of her calling, damn! this things people can do for love "Let's go Alicia" I firmly said before I started to walk outside holding her hand tightly, she seems reluctant at first as she made a final glance to the couple. Masamang kalabanin ang tadhana. When I stepped inside that horrifying machine, I was aware of the high possibility that I might not make it back alive. I was aware of the dangers of traveling through time. Bakit ko parin ginawa? Because I believe in happy endings. "And that's how everything started." Said mom. I looked at her as she caresses my hair. The bruises on her face and arm still distracts me. I can't believe that she ended up with a good for nothing guy. "Mom, I swear to God that I'm gonna get us out of this place." I promised her. She gave me a sweet smile, the one that never fails to calm my heart. A tear fell from her right eye. Mom's left eye was blinded three years ago because of my step father. That's why only her right eye can cry. "Go to bed. Hindi ka tatangkad kung magpupuyat ka." Said mom. I gave her a kiss on the forehead before I stood up and went outside of her room. It breaks my heart to see her like that. Kung may kapangyarihan lang sana ako I'd travel through time kung saan ang totoong dad ko and my mom were still together. If I'd be given a chance to do that, gagawin ko ang lahat para hindi sila magkahiwalay. So that I will never ever see my mom cry again. That's why I made up my mind. I will rewrite the past. I will save my mother and give her the happy ending she deserve. Babaguhin ko ang nakaraan kahit agawin man nito sa akin ang kinabukasan.
