Since he was taken in as a stray pup, Ace the Bathound has always stood as one of Batman's most trusted allies. However, an alarming situation unfolds when several of Gotham's villains' pets begin causing chaos in a distant and vibrant city. With the safety of this distant metropolis at stake, The Dark Knight decides to entrust Ace with his very first solo mission. His objective: Travel to this unfamiliar city, uncover the reason that has drawn these infamous pets to such an unexpected location, and find a way to stop them and bring them to justice. As Ace embarks on this crucial mission, he crosses paths with the city's own group of protectors-a team of heroic pups led by a young boy, who has recently saved their city from disaster. Now, It's time for Ace to step up and demonstrate that he can be a hero in his own right, proving that bravery knows no bounds, regardless of whether you have two legs or four.
