Pain is the body's way of telling you that something is wrong.  Ignore it for too long and the consequences could be dire.  But what if the pain never really went away? What if ignoring it was your only option?

For Alexa ignoring her pain was her only option now.  Pain was a daily reminder of the choices she had made in her life. Can she survive the it? Can she overcome all the hardships she has endured and become stronger for it?

Donovan had the biggest pack in the States. He was the strongest and fastest of the Blood Alpha's but can he stand up to the biggest threat the Werewolves have ever encountered?

Together they may be stronger but Alexa must learn to live and to trust again. Could she truly rise above her torment and become what she was meant to be? Or will she fall and burn in the aftermath of her fears?

All she felt was pain again and she slid down the wall and hugged her knees. What did Landon do to her? Did he want her to feel that much pain? And the pleasure was not enough for Lyla anymore, "what did you do to me?" "I marked you," replied Landon. "Marked me?" "Yes, darling. We have a bond now that can't be broken. You can run away, but you can't hide and I will always find you." Lyla Boyle never thought that she would be thrown into the world of werewolves, something she never believed in. But she was.
