A near-death experience changes everything, and not just for the person who experiences it. A life altering event in my childhood lead me down a path of embracing every day and living life to the max while being consciously aware of my own impending death. We cannot choose how or when we die, but we can choose how we live each day we have, conscious of the fact that it may be our last.
