Imagine if World War 2 had been a cover-up this whole time. Imagine if every country had no idea that a larger mysterious power was leading over everything and everyone. The United States got power hungry after World War 1, so they began to devise a plan to keep gaining more control, not cluing the President in. The government descended into oppression for centuries, putting more control on the people, arrests for no reason, and checkpoints, like a living prison. People have to hide who they truly are. Safety is not guaranteed.  Then, out of the ashes, a little rebellion that has been forming for years arises, with an insane hope that they can stop this tyranny and oppression.Todos os Direitos Reservados

They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.

It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.

What happens if you wake up and the world you know is gone? The country you called home is a shadow of its former self, divided and at war. Worst still, the only person you love is missing, lost in this hostile world. This is a bleak portrait of a dis-United Kingdom where North is fighting South, and the rest of the world has been turned upside down. Inspired by a dream (nightmare?) my father had when I was young, I started writing this story years ago and discovered it again recently, determined to finish it. I don't really do science fiction, so this is my first foray into the genre -- though technically speaking this is more alternative history than sci-fi. Let me know what you think!

But, in the new country of Avalon, those with powers were in power. Beatrix belongs to a group of rebels who want to over-throw the government. But, as Beatrix's responsibilities grow, it becomes apparent that one group just wants to take over for the other. She is unsure how she fits in. And how the new husband that was forced on her fits in to everything else.

As the boy joined the desperate search for survival, he realized that he was not alone in his quest for answers. Together, they would have to rely on each other, trust each other, and fight to stay alive in a harsh environment that seemed determined to kill them.
