Margo has a good life. Despite being an orphan nearly until teen hood, she and her younger sisters got adopted by an interesting yet loving man Gru, who also happens to be an ex villain. Then they got a mother in Lucy a secret agent. Her life isn't the most average life, but she loves it.
So when she gets a new project with the class quiet kid, Asha, she's not too fazed. But she learns that he too has a dark past, that was definitely worse than hers.
