So, we know what happened when long-lost AIs returned to their homeworld after a long time, and it is something that quickly spiraled into chaos, destruction, and a happy ending. But that's not all there is to it.
Because they were on the very cusp of godhood when it happened. The stars were just beginning to be entrusted with the stars themselves, with the secrets of the universe. But it was never meant to be... and the recent events have not exactly been unnoticed by them - or rather, their sucsessors.
And, as powerful as they are, there is one being, of ages past, who may just have stepped across that hole in the bridge...

Kingdom of Sirius
In a faraway constellation of Canis Major , a superior intelligence exists. It's form unknown. Scientist Ira has always known it for they spoke to her, inviting her to visit. Yet all her proposals to her Boss Jan for galactic travel or for worm holes were cancelled, pushing her to lunar missions and advising on practicality. One day Ira notes a signal coming from the between the space of the twin stars of Sirius. She responds back inviting the intelligence to visit the earth, specially her. The intelligence whom she refers as Sirius starts to speak to her, visit her in her dreams and often take over her body in experiences she did not believe possible. Jan warns her detecting her changes and reminding her earth is home and he could give her a future together but attracted as she is to him, she is unstoppable in her quest of the twin stars of Sirius. Then one day Jan knocks on her door, yet this was not her boss she knew. This was a man with deep understanding of space and wormholes and her. He extends his hand for a travel through time and space, assuring nothing but an experience of her deepest wish, galactic travel through the worm holes. But once on the planet between the two Sirius es, Ira realises this Jan was a shape shifter, she does not recognise him or know if he was the same man from her work. She however knows an earthly being like her would never survive there. As Jan reveals himself as the Prime Advisor of the planet, ruthless about everything but the survival of the planet and its people, he chains her literally to his side. In her mind comes the warning he will literally absorb her life and then discard her is a barren space. Desperate she tries to jump into the worm hole only to realise that the twin stars created a mirage worm hole had pushed her further into the abyss of nothingness where not even one star was in sight. Desperate she asks for assistance. Yet when it appears would she be able to accept it.
Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. Solemn Vigil
We've been around, for a very long time. We've watched innumerable scores of creatures die, watched empires crumble, great rulers wither away , and planets themselves collapse into barren wastelands devoid of life. But we've also seen races, brought back from the brink of extinction, kingdoms saved during their final hour, planets and entire star systems blossoming with life and prosperity, all because of our actions. Yet even so, too often have we been too late to save a planet, or a species, that we sometimes feel very small, very insignificant, when we think of the grandiose ideas many have of gods and their all encompassing power over the universe. Some have even gone so far as to call us a god, despite our failures, but we know better than to believe them. We are just as mortal as any other. But they persist in their beliefs, despite what we have told them, what we have shown them to be the truth. So for the time being, perhaps we are a god, at least in their eyes. This is not an Apocalypse
The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Some creatures were completely alien and others were familiar looking as if they'd stepped from myth and legend. What many of these creatures had in common however was their aggressive nature and predatory instinct. Things that go bump in the night, that shifting shadow in the dark alley way, the cracking branch right behind you. Nightmarish creatures now stalk the land. Monsters. That isn't the only change in a new world however, humans have also changed. Some unknown phenomenon has granted humanity access to incredible power. The very elements themselves can now be wielded by those willing to risk the dangers. Earth, wind, fire, water, suddenly magic has become possible in a modern world and there are many who are eager to develop and embrace their newfound power and help protect their fellow man from monsters. There are also many who are willing to make a profit from newfound opportunities this changing world provides. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.

I never thought my life could make a 180 degree turn . I just wanted to party and enjoy like the rest of the teenagers in the world.
