"So," she starts, one hand holding her bag and the other coming up to rest on Nick's shoulder. "How long have you two been together?"
    
    What?
    
    He's taken aback, uncomfortable under her touch and wanting to brush her hand off his shoulder, completely and utterly confused by her words. Together? Does she think they're dating?
    
    Nick starts, "oh, we're not actually-"
    
    Dream cuts him off. "We've known each other for about nine years, but got together four or five months ago."

    Dream invites Nick on a seemingly innocent vacation aboard a cruise ship. Nick realizes that Dream's family is under the impression that their relationship is much more than just friendly. He also realizes that they have to keep up the lie for the entire trip.
