It's no surprise Mason moved out on his eighteenth birthday to move in with his best friend.

       Mason's family made sure to stay out of his life the moment they found out he started dating his guy best friend, Daisuke Matsuki. But now, four years later, they suddenly want to come back in Mason's life once they found out Mason and Daisuke are getting married. Did they finally have a change or heart or do they have another motivation?

CONTENT WARNING/TRIGGERS: Please note that this story contains very strong language at times and some mature themes. Some characters face emotional abuse. There is also a small amount of physical abuse, but it is mostly implied apart from one scene which is not extremely graphic. Some characters are homophobic, and a slur is used a handful of times. I tried my best to include as many triggers I could think of, but if you notice anything else in the story that may potentially be one please feel free to let me know and I will add it as a warning. Thank you :) As for genre, this story contains a little bit of everything. I'd say it's an LGBT Coming-of-Age Romantic Comedy Drama. I know that's a lot, lol. "Focus on one chapter of a much more complicated and longer story" so it's pretty short, but I really enjoyed trying a new writing style and it was actually quite good for my skills. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. As it turns out, Grant is one of the most caring people in the world and will do anything to protect the people he loves. So it becomes shocking to everyone when he ends up being the one to get mixed in with the wrong crowd.
