Not According To Plan (L x Light) (Death Note)

So, you know how L dies? Yeah, no he doesn't.

You've all probably seen the fanfictions of L and Light being chained together and how it gets ✨spicy✨. You've seen different AU's of L and Light not being Kira and detective. What haven't you seen?

You haven't seen one where the story continues if L lives. You haven't seen the story where Rem dies killing Watari, but never having the time to kill L before turning to dust. You haven't seen the introduction of new characters that provide interest nor have you seen old characters being shown in the show/manga in a compelling manner.

What happens when L lives? How will Kira deal with his one ace being turned to dust? Why does Misa stay around? Who is this person L recruits? What's with Wammy's? How did L become a detective? All questions that will be answered if you read.
