The Apocalypse

Since ancient times, humans and magic-bloods had lived along side each other. In the ancient times, they lived in harmony; before the Great Magic War. After the Great Magic War, magic-bloods were shunned, forced to go into hiding, to live in the world, hidden from human eyes. Descendants of the ancient blood had to find sanctuary in the new realm made for them, and in turn, no longer thrived in the human world. A world beneath a world.
Cynthia is a magic-blood. She is the last of her kind. Or so she believes. All she knows is that her father, who had disappeared when Cynthia was born, was a magic-blood. She has wondered all her life about who she is; and if there are others like her.

On her seventeenth birthday, everything changes. When a mysterious boy by the name Chase, intercepts her at school, claiming to be a Seer - someone who can detect magical energy - she is skeptical but also is desperate for answers of who she is. And when the human dead begin to rise out of their graves, Cynthia dives into a world that she has never known, but is connected to by the blood coursing through her veins and becomes involved in a battle against an ancient and long forgotten evil.
