Patton Foster is perfectly happy with his life. Any of his loved ones can tell you so! He lives with his older brother Logan in a humble apartment they share, he has his dream job as a teacher at an Elementary School, and he has Roman, the best friend anyone can ask for!

There's just... One problem.

Whenever someone gets into a romantic relationship, it's as if Patton might as well not exist. He and Logan were always left to themselves when Roman had his relationships. It always bothered Patton, but at least he had Logan for company. Roman always insists that Patton would understand if he had his own relationship.

Despite his brother's disapproval, Patton allowed Roman to set him up with someone. Said someone was Remy, a tired college student that Roman met in his Theatre Group. Patton and Remy's relationship lasted four years, both the best and worst four years of Patton's life. After their relationship crashed and burned, Patton gave up on romance.

That was ten years ago. Now Patton is 33, and he had given up on romance. However, with Roman and Logan both in committed relationships, keeping his spirits up has been difficult. On the ten year anniversary of him and Remy breaking up, Patton decides to do something desperate, and probably stupid.

He finds a dating app with some good reviews, and makes a profile.

Little does he know, it won't be long before a certain charmer of a serpent gets matched with him. What will Patton do when someone else is pursuing his heart for a change, and it's no longer just him trying to please everyone else?
