The story follows Olivia Archer, an 8-year-old girl who, along with her younger sister and father, finds a survivor camp in the Georgia wilderness. Olivia, often left behind by her family, forms a bond with two rednecks, Merle and Daryl Dixon. The camp members discover the traumatic experiences inflicted by Olivia's father, Andrew, but remain silent until Merle intervenes with the help of Daryl. As Olivia grapples with her father's loss, she wonders if the support of the group will help her overcome her grief.

Nell has lost everyone she ever loved. She witnessed her little brother getting tore to shreds right in front of her eyes. And to make things worse, she is alone. At this point, Nell would prefer to get eaten alive by brain-munchers. There's no point in life if she isn't even living- she's just surviving. When the last bit of canned food runs out, it forces Nell to leave her house, but she finds herself in some trouble with a brain-muncher and wakes up in a... farmhouse? Nell knows to never trust anyone, it's what her dad always told her. Before her dad died, Nell had a very strange relationship with him. He was abusive- both physically and emotionally. Nell always thought that was normal. It's normal for dads to get angry and lash out. It's normal to be punished for trying to speak... right? When she meets the group taking shelter at the farmhouse, will she run away? Is her need for a true family stronger than her loyalty to her abusive father? Or will a certain guy with a crossbow and a boy in a sheriff hat show her that life is worth living? • • • Amazing book cover by @tbr_tales !! Daryl's daughter/Carl's lover/Found family The story does not completely follow the plot of The Walking Dead. The plot line strays away from the show at times due to Nell's interference. Tw: Physical abuse, attempted suicide, gore. -ˏˋ ꜰᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜ, ɪ'ᴅ ꜱᴛᴇᴀʟ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴛᴀʀꜱ.ˊˎ- Elodie Price had never heard the soft breeze of the wind or the sound of birds singing in the trees. After losing her older brother and her mother, the world had become grey. Ten years old, and already the universe had stripped her of everything. She couldn't see any reason to keep moving, no one to protect her. The Walkers would find her soon enough. With her hearing loss, she wouldn't even hear them coming. She could barely hear the world screaming around her. Her mother had always been harsh - never quite satisfied with anything Elodie did - and her brother distant. The little bits of love that trickled through, the faint scraps of affection, always seemed to slip through her fingers like water. She didn't belong. Not to them, not to anyone. So when she had come to the conclusion that maybe it was her turn to go, she never expected anyone to care. She never expected anyone to save her. Certainly not someone like Daryl Dixon. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰; ©𝙙𝙞𝙭𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙: 𝙛𝙚𝙗. 𝟭𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙: - updates set in season 4 (the earlier chapters truly suck in my opinion, so once you get to like chapter 10 or so it gets better :,P) DISCLAIMER: I do not own The Walking Dead, or its storyline.
