When Wynona Meyer received an odd letter at her doorstep, all hell broke loose as she found herself introduced to Willa Sycamore -- an author determined to make Wynona her big bestseller.

When Willa Sycamore intended to write an Urban Fantasy, she did not intend for it to deviate from the biggest trope in the book -- the "Every Girl" who has two very attractive men fighting for her affections. Except, Wynona Meyer is happily married and quite aware of the Urban Fantasy landscape around her, therefore upending all of Willa's plans.

Now the two must work together as they try to find a story in Wynona's everyday life good enough to top the charts of the New York Times bestsellers list, and maybe hunt down a few folkloric entities while they're at it. Just don't feed Wynona's cat, it'll eat just about anything alive.

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)

Things only get worse when she's kidnapped "for her own safety," when she wants nothing to do with magic at all. ~ Roxie Reilly made a critical mistake: she threatened to punch the sketchy woman at work. That woman turned out to be Dani Darhk, the worst threat to magick normalcy. And Roxie had no idea that magic even existed in the first place. Now she's entangled in the magick world, and wants nothing to do with it. But the walls of reality are beginning to crumble, revealing the secrets behind them. She's surrounded by beings of incredible power-some willing to help her, and most wanting to kill her. Roxie wants nothing more than to go back to her life as a regular nobody from Tennessee, but no one is willing to let her-not to mention she would probably die if she did, because of the dark mage hunting her. Armed with only a pair of fists, a spicy attitude, and some otherworldly potential within her, Roxie is seriously regretting threatening to punch that mage. Book one of the Roxie Reilly Trilogy.
