I have to write a horror story for English and I could use some help. I think It's going to be a chapter book. Please comment on everything, fix my mistakes, give me ideas, and tell me if this should be an actual book.
Here's what's happened:
Isolabella had wanted to go to a Halloween party being thrown by her crush, but her mom had taken her on a month-long vacation. After some negotiation, she convinced her mom to let her go. When they get to the cabin they're staying in for the month, she explores the house and sees a strange bird, but thinks a trick of the eye. A few weeks later, when she's used to the strange things she encounters, she has a terrifying nightmare about the party. Lucky her, the party was that night. That night, traumatizing things happen leaving her scarred for life.

She finds that her parents always come to her bedside in the middle of the night without a sound, watching over her with expressionless faces, only to leave at dawn. Everyone around here looks like they are wearing a mask, whether they are crying or laughing, there is an unspeakable weirdness on their faces. The memories that have disappeared from her mind, the mysterious blood-coloured messages in her diary, the scary ghostly face on the window... A stranger covered in blood came to the door that day. The Cabin
When I awoke from that wooden bed, there was a woman staring at me, the rocking chair she was sitting in rocking back in forth. Her gaze of me was sharp, a patient sharpness; a hunter's gaze. As I stood up from the creaking bed, I was able to see that I was in a cabin. The place was a dimly lit cabin, with giant candles surrounding all corners of the room, book shelves filled with countless books were on every wall, and lastly there were stairs leading to a second floor. The woman's gaze averted from me, as if she was released from a burden. On top of her lap sat a book that she started reading. the title of the book was "How To Knit A Sweater." The Woman was beautiful, her skin as white as snow, her hair long and dark. Her wrists wore leather wristbands with black skulls on them-

It happened to be a normal G8 meeting as always. Some fights here and there and nothing much getting done, as usual, for the personified nations. But, then, America gets an idea. "Oh, how about we go to this haunted house, dudes?" In which, somehow they agree and follow America to a abandoned house out on the outskirts of New York. Though, what they don't know, is that their nightmares are about to seemingly become real. EDIT: 11/8/16 THIS WAS MADE 2 HALLOWEENS AGO WATTT EVEN... My writing was so bad in this, not gonna lie. The world is ending. The Earth is painted with the blood of humans. Only zombies and monsters roam the lands now. But in the last standing building, 6 teenagers unexpectedly meet each other. Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31.
