When people think of Peter Pan, they think of a cruel, brutal man who has no heart and only thinks of himself. A demon. Who could love a man like that?
Well, Peter Pan wasn't always like that. He used to be just like in the fairytales. He was someone who wanted the lost ones to find a home, one who was friends with the fairies of Neverland and who loved having fun with those around him, except the pirates.
So, what changed? Well, his love did. Everly Darling. She is the eldest sibling of the Darling family, and she used to rule Neverland with Peter. When the curse took over, though, Everly got sent to Storybrooke with absolutely no clue of who she really is. Nobody did. Except Henry Mills. He tried to make everyone remember again.
When Henry finally achieved it, and Emma, the saviour, saved everyone, Everly still had no clue of who she was. How could that be possible? Everly, Maya Kennidy in Storybrook, thought that maybe she didn't belong to a story. Maybe she belongs to the real world. But Henry knows otherwise. He knows that everyone in storybrook has their story. Which is Everly's?
And Peter? He has no idea where his love is. He has been trying to find her since she disappeared, and slowly, he turned into the evil Peter Pan we know. For what is he without his love? But he will wait for her. He will always wait for her. By his thinking tree. Their thinking tree.
