Lyra's a girl in her first years of highschool that lives with her dad. Her best friend doesn't live far away so she see him all the time. They have a little garage band with some other friends.
Soon she has to move to live with her mum for the rest of school. She leaves behind her friends and moves far away but she never stops pursuing her music. eventually, she becomes more popular in her new band as their music takes off, and soon she's doing gigs not to far from home.
but where will this take her? and who will she meet? What demons from the past will come back to her?

Lyra Black is the daughter of Sirius Black. She's been through a lot throughout her seventeen years of life. As soon as she turned seventeen, she ran away from her old life and went straight to the States. She hoped to have a new life, away from all things to do with the Wizarding World, other than her magic and money of course. The Dark Lord is rising in ranks, meaning more and more people are dying or becoming Death Eaters. Being a pure blood Slytherin meant Lyra was one of the main people chosen to be a Death Eater. Lyra refused to be on the dark side, but at the same time, she refused to work under Dumbledore. Dumbledore was a joke, and she seen straight through his lies. When Lyra went to the States, she kept in contact with her uncle, Remus Lupin, and his wife, Nymphadora Tonks. Lyra loved Lupin and Tonks more than anything, so it hurt for her to leave them behind, but she had to get away to stay alive and protect everyone she loved. She had lost almost everyone, and she refused to be the reason she lost anyone else. Moving to Forks, Washington was a huge change. She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had. The Snake's Bride
Stranded on an uncharted island during an expedition gone wrong, Lyra must find a way to not only escape the strange island but survive its brutal environment and the creatures that lurk there. The last thing Lyra expected on this expedition is to end up stumbling into the territory of a highly aggressive and highly territorial beast that sees her as its next meal...or so she thinks. ----- Lyra has always suffered from a fear of snakes, ever since she was a young girl. She has done well to avoid the scaly creatures and keep her distance from them even while working as a toxicologist who researches and makes lifesaving cures for snake bite victims. However, working in such a field doesn't completely keep her from interacting or coming close to the animals she fears so much, especially when she's sent on an expedition along with some explorers to an uninhabited island to research and discover new species of plants and animals as well as search for an elusive and highly venomous serpent that is said to inhabit the strange isle. It also doesn't help when their helicopter suddenly malfunctions and the group ends up crash-landing in the middle of a dense jungle with no way of contacting the outside world for help. and to make things worse for poor Lyra, something seems to be stalking her in this new and unfamiliar environment. It's bad enough she's trapped with no way home in such a dangerous place, but when she comes across signs of a monster lurking somewhere on this uncharted isle, she comes to find that the worst of her nightmares have only just begun. because the thing that's been stalking her from the shadows as fangs and scales just like the creatures she fears the most, with intentions of keeping her trapped with it on the isle.
