And what if the writers of New Amsterdam gave us what we actually wanted and deserved. 

I can't promise this fanfic will satisfy all your needs or leave you wanting more, but it's worth a shot- which is something we didn't receive in season 4 and definitely not in season 5....which we will no longer mention.  So hang onto your buts, because this ride may get bumpy.
