My heart is heavy, burdened with grief
for the love I once had, that is now a memory brief.
Her smile, her laugh, her scent in the air,
now a distant echo, a feeling of despair.
The pain in my chest, a constant reminder,
of the love we once shared, now a distant slider.
I long for her touch, her presence once more,
but she's gone, and my heart is sore.
The tears on my cheeks, a river of pain,
for the loss of a love that was pure and sane.
I miss her deeply, with each passing day,
my heart aching, as I struggle to find my way.
