Mirae had been trying to distance herself from her past ever since her last operation as a hacker, and she was successful for a short period of time, but it all came crashing back when an unkown person contacted her out of nowhere with an unusual request.

Her entire world started to crumble down into pieces with every truth that was revealed, what was right and what was wrong wasn't as clear as it was when she started anymore. 

Would she be able to do the right thing when it didn't felt right?

A/N: Okay, so, this will be updated slowly because I'm stupid and will spend days editing the chapters. Also, the beginning will be very slow paced, but just bear with it because I think it'll turn out as something very nice. (I sure hope it does).

____ what if v's first rescue mission was successful? . . what if mc ended up drinking the elixir when ray offered it to her? . . in this story, the first two questions become a reality. i guess you could say the roles were swapped. as if it's not obvious enough, mc drinks the elixir when given to her. but, v also manages to save mc the first time around. it was a messy job, but it happened. unfortunately, with you having the toxins in your body, you can't do much. seriously. you're like a pile of bones.
