Their parents were also a moth-butterfly couple, but they can head into the forest. It wasn't fair.
He turned back to his sister, who he found was also eyeing the woods. "... We'll stay in sight of the clearing, okay? We're ten, we can do this!"

The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. my first finished book. I started writing this, when I was in 8th grade, and I ended writing it at freshman year. Warning: most of the book was written, when I was at school, meaning some stuff wasn't really researched (or was it?). And it may or may not have a lot of mistakes. This fanfic is was posted earlier on ao3 (since ao3 is cheaper, you don't have to buy subscriptions + some stuff to read it). This book doesn't have graphic smut, but it does have violence! (and pure murder). Currently, I'm writing my second book, which is mainly focused on what happened when Janna was stuck on Planet Europa 5893x. It has more murder, violence, royal drama, and maybe some romantic relationships (the only non-toxic ship in the first book were two 11 year old boys). When I was writing this book, I thought: "if tweek and craig were two 10 year olds in a healthy mlm relationship, why can't I do the same thing, but with an skateboarding goth 11 year old and a broke trans 11 year old". warning: janna, nate walker, bad (horrible) parenting, crazy oc-lore, murder and violence, toxic relationships, (surprisingly) healthy relationships, mentions of multiple fandoms (as we read the book, since my oc-lore is literally a cross-over between fandoms + my own thing), 🏳️‍🌈people, swearing, mentions of drugs(idk much about them but my oc's a drug dealer-) + many other stuff I should've mentioned, but didn't mention, because I was too lazy-
