In this tale we follow the story of John, a child born in the future during a time when over-population is such a large problem that all governments have collapsed and the world dictator orders that parents may only have one children. John's parents heed this law but are shocked to discover that they are pregnant with quints. John is given away  at the age of 15 to be executed but manages a daring escape. In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?

This story follows a girl who is constantly reminded about her bad choices and how she cant escape whats in her mind. Every time she feels safe, its taken away. This fantasy, slice of life, romance, drama story shows that expectation can lead you to believe that people are defined on what they were before, but it is better learn what they are now than before.
