In this tale we follow the story of John, a child born in the future during a time when over-population is such a large problem that all governments have collapsed and the world dictator orders that parents may only have one children. John's parents heed this law but are shocked to discover that they are pregnant with quints. John is given away at the age of 15 to be executed but manages a daring escape. But what life could he possibly live in a world where his very existence is illegal?

A tug of war between two individuals, each believing that the other is their key to happiness in some way or form. However, in order to be happy, one must have their way.
