If the waves could talk to me, if only they could speak. They'd sing songs of pirates and mermaids and mysteries. The world has long forgotten about the tales it had told, when the ocean could speak, but its voice is no more.
If the ocean were to sing into my longing ears once more, it would talk about a baby girl who was born on the shore. A baby with a mother who's hair was as long as an eagle's wings. A baby missing her father who doesn't know she exists. A good little girl with honey blonde hair, and bright green eyes. A little girl whose future is to be filled with screams and demise. She has yet to know the fate she will hold, but for now all she wants is to be able to grow old. A life of much grief will come upon her, but not right now, for her story is yet to be told.
