This is a highly divergent Murder Drones AU in which the AbsoluteSolver isn't sentient, the earth wasn't destroyed (but isn't the same...), N, J & V aren't the only disassembly drones, along with other minor details I shall add here and there. Warning for spoilers of Murder Drones! Go watch it (all available episodes) now or when you're able to, then come back here. Or continue on, I'm not your mom. Uzi awoke, alone at first, with fuzzy memories, and in a place she didn't recognize. Now, all she has is the word of a stranger to help her figure out whatever the hell is going on, and what she's even doing here in the first place.

Khan dies not too long after Nori, and Uzi is left alone. The drone child quickly falls into disrepair, becoming rusted and glitchy. Uzi is only barely able to survive, she is forced to change herself in ways no Worker Drone ever has before. J knows that her coworkers are lonely. As much as she refuses to admit it, she was lonely as well. So when N brings in a strange Disassembly Drone who seems to have just as isolated a life as the rest of them, who is she to turn them away?
