The Man of Winter

A forgotten legend, about one of Death's helpers, who takes away the innocent as much as they punish the guilty.
It is a harsh time of the year for the villagers. They know that some of them won't make it through. They fear the upcoming season and its horrors, but despite the feeling of doom reigning upon them, a little boy finds beauty and comfort within the desolate landscape that has become his village and its surroundings, even making a friend who shares his view of the world.
