❝Sebastian, you cannot possibly be any more mad,❞ her words trembled from her lips, eyes boring into the brunette boy before her. His eyes darkened, flashing a devious smirk as his grip tightened on the base of his wand. ❝I will not fight you; not here, not now, never.❞
Eerie silence fell before them brief and grim before Sebastian prowled before her tauntingly, his eyes locked to hers with pangs of sickening scorn and deep pain. ❝I am afraid it's too late for that, darling. You have already made your choice,❞ Sebastian's voice pierced the air; her core; her sanity. A meter merged into a millimeter, distance measured by mere breaths and heartbeats, it was paralyzing. Sebastian was quick, too quick, and the tip of his wand was taut against her pulsating neck before she could anticipate. His eyes welled with disgust and treachery.
Sebastian spoke rough and low, ❝You-you did this. You knew everything, and decided to keep everything away from me. You watched as I sacrificed everything. You don't think of me so ignorant, Verena?❞
His voice began to waver among the tension, among the eyes of hurt and fear before him. Hurt; a feeling he was well versed in. Fear; a feeling he fled from. But, now, Sebastian was numb to his very being; he cast away any love from his soul .❝I am not a coward, I will sacrifice anything. I will sacrifice us, I will sacrifice you...❞
