One day, as she attempted to teach Cleopatra how to use an ancient calculator she'd brought from the future, Cleopatra exclaimed, "Ah, you have brought the magic scrolls of calculation! How wondrous!"
Savitri laughed, "Not quite, Cleopatra, it's a basic calculator, but it can do mathematical wonders."
Cleopatra stared at it for a moment and said, "Could it calculate the number of camels in my royal stables?"
Savitri realized that her attempt to introduce advanced technology to the past was like explaining the principles of rocket science to a toddler. It was an exercise in comedic futility.
