Sam and Hailey

In the summer of 2023, Sam wakes up with their girlfriend hailey but quickly notices something is off. Despite their efforts to make hailey happy, tensions arise. Hailey brings up ​Calgary, referring to an accident that affected the narrator deeply. Later, they reconcile and plan to attend a rodeo together. The narrator participates in practice for an upcoming rodeo but gets injured. They wake up in the ​hospital with Hailey by their side, worried about their well-being. The narrator is emotional about the end of their rodeo career, but she encourages them not to give up. They find solace in each other and embrace the future together. They have a movie night, enjoy each other's company, and end the day with a loving goodnight kiss.
