After the destruction of Konahagakure, Miyuki Namikaze is grateful for her life with Kakashi and brother, Naruto. Everything is perfect and Miyuki can't help but finally feel at peace. However, a declaration of war for the remaining jinchuriki throws everything into chaos. Knowing the cost of war and the pain of loss, Miyuki vows to protect the ones she loves this time. But when Miyuki is reunited with someone she thought was dead, she can't help but waver. Can she harden her heart to protect the man she loves against the man she loved like a brother? Will Kakashi and Miyuki get their happy ending or will the war leave them with nothing but heartbreak? After all, it seems like those on Team Minato never get anything but a tragic end.

No one knew this would happen. No one knew Minato and Kushina would have twins. No one knew that the babies, the boy and girl, would become the jinchūriki of Kurama. No one knew that the girl would be sent to Sunagakure and become friends with the Kazekage's youngest child. Heck, no one even knew that the girl would be friends with the Akatsuki and make them big softies. Nariko Namikaze is the twin sister of Naruto Uzumaki, only being a minute younger than him. The two of them are opposites: Naruto looks like Minato while Nariko looks like Kushina, and Naruto acts like Kushina while Nariko acts like Minato. Nariko also learns and becomes friends with Yin Kurama earlier than Naruto does with Yang Kurama. As she grows, she learns things that some people hoped to keep from her. Such as, that she's the daughter of the fourth Hokage and that she has a twin brother. Determined, serious and kind, she befriends all people she meets, and when they reject her she smiles and moves on. With a smile on her face, she hides the deep sorrow that only the people closest to her can see through her eyes. Her dream is to make everyone happy, and to reunite families that have been separated, such as Sasuke and Itachi as well as the sand siblings. Will she be able to succeed, and find her own happiness along the way? Or will the darkness of the world consume her? I don't own Naruto/ Shippuden. All rights go to the original maker, Masashi Kishimoto. However, I do own Nariko and the changes that I will make in the story line. If you wish to use some of the details I made, ask and it may be granted to you. Used to be called One and the Same. Will be under gradual editing.

"The Namikaze clan huh?", Itachi took a step closer, his eyes calm, but fixated. I took a step further back as I kept reminding myself that this is no ordinary Uchiha. My face never gave away a glimpse of doubt as I smirked. "I heard that the Namikaze clan has the potential to go up against the Senju and the Uchiha", he declares, the wind blowing his hair away from his murk eyes. My hand snaked to the kunai bag strapped to my thigh, declaring battle when I raised my pointer and middle finger, he was unfazed as usual. "Prove this battle worthwhile", he says as the wind died down and there was a split second before his eyes sparked in the dead of night and he hissed, "Mangeyko Sharingan" ------------------------- Whether you love him or hate him Itachi Uchiha is a hero, but what would happen if on the night of the tragedy someone were to stop him from committing the infamous Uchiha massacre? Insert Hanabi Namikaze, one of the few left of her clan. With Lord Danzo planning his moves within the shadows, and when Itachi is torn between "the village or the clan", Hanabi, having inherited the Will of Fire will do what's necessary to prevent a civil war within the Leaf. And maybe Itachi could learn that shouldering the weight of his problems is better done when you have a trusted comrade. After all she's a powerful disciple of the Leaf's Yellow Flash. DISCLAIMERS:- 1. Only read if you have ample information about the original story. 2. The only character that belongs to me is Hanabi Namikaze. 3.Every other character in this story belongs to Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto. 4. Make sure to enjoy!

"Why me? Why am I always the one that's different? It isn't fair! This pain of being all alone is suffocating, why should anyone other than yourself have the right to decide how you get to live your life? I'll show you all! I'll show you that I'm not the monster you label me as! I'm innocent, I didn't do it!" I've been called every name in the book, but I don't care. I was used to all the insults and the villagers hating me. One thing I wasn't used to though, was love. I didn't know a thing about it, what did it feel like? How were you supposed to know you were feeling it? I soon found the answers to my questions when I got taken back into the Hidden Leaf Village and placed on Minato's team. There are some things I learned from him, and things I learned from my teammates. Things I'll never forget. Minato taught me what it's like to have someone who cares for you, someone who would protect you, someone that will love you no matter what you are. Or what you've done.
