in which, ophelia james, the adoptive daughter of hermione and hiram lodge, the adoptive sister of veronica lodge. they became her adoptive parents when she was fourteen because her parents supposedly disappeared and ophelia didn't have anywhere to go. since ophelia and her parents were close to the lodges, the lodge parents took the fourteen year old girl in.

ophelia and veronica became closer than ever. i mean, yeah, the girls were close but they became closer when ophelia became her adoptive sister. now, veronica would do 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 for ophelia, and vice versa.

when they moved to riverdale, ophelia quickly became friends with betty, jughead, and archie. so did veronica, well mostly betty then started dating archie. ophelia is mostly friends with jughead. the two kicked off quickly. it was like they were two pieces of a puzzle, they clicked as soon as they met.

will jughead and ophelia's friendship become more?
