Katelyn Bonavich likes to think of herself as a theatrical Batman - in the office by day, acting by night.

On the one day she couldn't make it to her show, her understudy goes missing, and is later found dead. Katelyn is pretty sure that the creepy love letters she's been receiving were penned by the killer, but the detective on the case, Samuel Rodriguez, is not so convinced.

But more people go missing, and more letters appear at her door. Katelyn doesn't know who to trust anymore - the Headline Hitman could be anyone. Why did they have to choose her?
