Elliot is a fox shifter who was left with his mothers best friend, citrine, after his mom's unfortunate death.  Citrine is a human who was never very open about her relationships with shifters as it was frowned upon in human society, so citrine moves Elliot out to the middle of nowhere in order to keep him hidden away and her reputation safe.
