Elliot is a fox shifter who was left with his mothers best friend, citrine, after his mom's unfortunate death. Citrine is a human who was never very open about her relationships with shifters as it was frowned upon in human society, so citrine moves Elliot out to the middle of nowhere in order to keep him hidden away and her reputation safe. Elliot stumbles upon an injured wolf cub and feral fox in the woods and takes the cub in. The cub turns out to be a shifter and not long after the alpha of the cubs pack comes knocking, and Elliot is shocked to answer the door and find his mate.
