Note: I have abandoned Sickness because I have no ideas, so I am trying out something much the same but with a whole linear story line (instead of short story). This is gonna be some sort of vent thing where I write gory stuff so be warned.
The Unknown has taken over the villagers minds. They don't know who to believe in anymore and have put their lives in Gods hands. Aside from one, he has hope.
The Unknown has recruited a wild beast to take the wondering souls for him to put in his tree of souls. He thrives on these souls and he doesn't expect what might happen to his beast.

He knows deep down he will not survive, but he just wants to give them a scar, so they never forget him. How would you feel? If you were nothing? If gods from another dimension roamed, and did whatever they pleased. The old gods are nowhere to be found? The only gods are the ones that you see everyday? im gna be honest this is a huge work in progress, but essentially After a major traumatic event in Griffen Westons life sends him spiraling into a life he never expected, things seem beyond fixing. He had never felt so empty. But grief has a certain smell. It's a scent that attracts a certain kind of creature when you head out into the woods. His dreams tell him tales before he sees them. He watches this mysterious wisp of white hair and green cloth dart about the moss to evade him. The scent of patchouli and lavender with the pugent musk of sulfur harrasses him into submitting into this feeble attempt at following her. Or It. Whoever this person may be, they heard him calling out. They knew what he needed. He never expected to find himself so enamored with something so unique. But he didnt know how to find a way to stay away from this curiosity.
