Cryptid is the God of Lust and Sexual desires. He is Cupid's evil twin. His other half. The yin to Cupid's yang. He was always looked at as the worst twin. The "less handsome" twin. The most "hated" twin. He was always really angry about this and always hated his yang twin. The only joy he found in this life was...his best friend and Cupid's fiance, Lyra Haven. The goddess of poetry, art, and music. As kids, they'd play in the fields, reading books and song lyrics to each other until one day...his rage of always being the hated twin for no reason other than existing, boiled over. He attempted to kill his twin. So he was banished to the underworld. Where a series of unfortunate events, led to him being the King of The Underworld. The same events, led him to wipe out the human race. His next target...the gods. Which went as planned, he got to Lyra. They talked and laughed together about their future. But their time together was cut short when the deities he didn't kill found them, captured Lyra, and killed him.
These series of unfortunate events were the catalyst for the war between Cryptid Valkyrie and the rest of the Roman Gods. The catalyst for many years of bloodshed, war, and desperation.
For every tick of the clock..another second goes by of his love being trapped. Another day goes by that brings lyra closer to having to marry a man she doesn't love.
