Our Last First Day

15 parts Complete

From first steps to forever-two hearts, one scrapbook, and a lifetime of memories waiting to be written. It's senior year. Best friends Eli and Maeve have done everything together - survived algebra, heartbreaks, and each other's bad taste in music. But with graduation looming, everything feels uncertain. On an ordinary morning, they impulsively decide to skip school and spend one last day exploring all their favourite places - the beach where they built sandcastles as kids, the diner where they planned their futures, the hill overlooking their town where they dreamed about leaving. As the day unfolds, laughter mixes with nostalgia, and the space between them grows charged with something unspoken. What begins as an innocent act of rebellion becomes a quiet coming-of-age - one filled with awkward almost-confessions, small touches, and the terrifying, beautiful realisation that maybe they've been in love all along. By sunset, they know that when they go back, nothing will ever be the same.
