Riley's always been a shy and timid girl, never wanting to join in and make new friends. She has her older sister, Emily, but the pair couldn't be more different than they are already. Following the tragic events of her mother's death, they moved away to start a new life somewhere brand-new and that's where Riley's forced to come out of her shell. Her entire life, people had judged her by first glance and never wanted anything to do with her but that's all about to change when she meets James and the pair find they have a bond beyond compare.

Riley and James had the perfect relationship: they loved each other, saw each other all the time and protected one another no matter what. Despite a few obstacles, they still managed to jump over the hurdles and took things one stepping stone at a time. But when Riley moved away, they were met with the biggest obstacle of all. Now that she's back, what does it mean for their relationship and how many bridges will they be willing to cross when the time gets to it?
