The name "Kai" has different meanings in various cultures. In Hawaiian, it means "sea" or "ocean," symbolizing strength and tranquility. In Japanese, it can mean "forgiveness" or "recovery." It's a versatile name with beautiful interpretations but for her forgiving was easier then facing her first (unrequited) love..
she's a determined and ambitious woman who goes through a remarkable transformation after falling out with her childhood friend - enemy, becoming even more confident and successful.
Has she finally moved on? or does she still think think of him?

Cal

Caleb Micthell short for Cal is a charming and intelligent guy, but he can be quite stubborn and has a hard time expressing his true emotions. He's had few friends but only one of them is in love with him which is oblivious and closest to which makes her difficult to stay away from him although at the end of their friendship comes with the weight of their ambition to achieve and eventually get separated.
When they cross paths after 6 yrs, Cal starts to think where it went wrong all those yrs.. He's determined to find out the truth and not let go of her this time.
