(CAOIMHE is pronounced KEE-VUH) Redview Catholic Institute, 2013. My name is Rauri Sheltin and I'm sixteen years old, a returning junior at Redview. I guess you could say I have a good family, a good amount of friends, and good grades. Being an upperclassman can be exhausting, though, especially when you spend every minute helping new freshman get to their classes. And when that freshman's name is Caoimhe Moran from Dungannon in Northern Ireland, and she's never been to a school before, I suppose I must say we spend so much time together that we're becoming friends. And the most exhausting problem is spending every minute of every day knowing I'll never have a chance with Taylor Cross, a gorgeous junior like me, with perfect blonde hair and stormy grey eyes. Most certainly not when Alexa Ellis, the model-like, Miss America cheerleader is his lucky girlfriend. Life is full of so many problems right now, so I guess I'll just be ranting on to you about everything. About Taylor. About my hatred of Alexa Ellis. And about Caoimhe, the innocent freshman who just may be more of a problem than she appears to be...

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
