Cherik's Daughter Fic: *1983* Charles and Erik started to run the school together in 1974, 2 years after the events in Washington. But not because they couldn't be without each other. No, because they now had someone else counting on them. Elena Xaiver, one of Trask Industries earlier experiments that was only released after Trask's trial in January 1974. Elena is the glue that holds Charles and Erik together because they don't have to fumble anymore for excuses to be with each other, they can be there for her and everything about her makes them smile. Charles finally a father after thinking having children wasn't an option for him anymore and Erik filling a void he so longed to be gone.
